He has been one of the best goalkeepers int the world known for his reflexes, distribution and leadership qualities.
He began his career at the youth level with Paris Saint-Germain and later joined Lille in 2015 where he was back up goalkeeper before he was promoted to be the first choice goalkeeper in 2017. He led the club to a historic Ligue 1 title for the 2020-21 season where he had an impressive 21 clean sheets.

He joined AC Milan in July 2021 for a reported transfer fee of €16.4 million. He quickly became an integral part of the team and played a major role in their Serie A successful campaign for the 2021-22 season.
